Education

Studied medicine at All Saints University School of Medicine and graduated in 2015. I'm applying for my residency in Internal Medicine currently. Before going to ASUSOM I graduated from NJIT with a Biology BS. I was in the honor Biology society because of my love of sciences, but particularly chemisty. It was a subject that came easy to me like all types of math.

Experience

I started tutoring in 2004 and have been tutoring ever since. I enjoy tutoring because I love seeing students do well in classes. It seems to make them enjoy their classes more and have confidence. I teach subject material as well as study skills. Each person is different so I usually carry at least 3 different ways to teach an individual. Through my years of tutoring I have found some people to be auditory, others are visual and the last usually practical or a combination of two or even three. So, I usually give explanations and examples and then spend some time reviewing. I find this as a the best way to ensure the material sticks. It's the best feeling when someone finally understands the material well enough to explain it and comes back with amazing grades. It's even better when people find they have more time to do other things because studying is easy and less stressful. That's my goal when I teach!

I repair phone screens in my spare time. I started when a friend of mine broke her screen and got cut answering the phone. It's suits the side of me that likes taking things apart to find out how they work. Been collecting coins since I was five. Travelling, biking and hiking. Playing basketball and running - would love to run a half marathon. I love watching scary movies or just good comedies.
